Keynote speeches by Professor Paul Gilroy (King’s College, London), Professor Elisa Joy White (University of California at Davis; ASWAD), Dr Henry Mainsah (The Oslo School of Architecture and Design), Domenica Ghidei Biidu (ECRI) and Johny Pitts (Afropean.com). Almost 200 presentations by people from 20 different countries in over 30 sessions (panels/workshops).

The conference fee (50e for three days) includes access to the Black Poetry Night (6 July at Klubi) organized in cooperation with the Fest Afrika Festival and London-based Speaking Volumes Live Literature Productions, with black poets and spoken word artists Zena Edwards, Vanessa Kisuule, Solomon OB and Yomi Sode. The poetry night is hosted by Roger Robinson who also performs at Klubi the following evening (7 July) as part of the Fest Afrika Festival programme.
