New members to the board of The Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (TSV) have been elected. Research fellow at the University of Tampere and adjunct professor of social anthropology and ethnology Anna Rastas has been elected to represent the Finnish Anthropological Society on the board. Core fellow at the University of Helsinki and adjunct professor Miia Halme-Tuomisaari was chosen as a deputy member. Their election received notable support from other scientific societies as well, including the Finnish Society for Childhood Studies, the Association of Finnish Ethnologists Ethnos, the Finnish Folklore Society, and the Society for Cultural Policy Research in Finland.
