The annual meeting of the Finnish Anthropological Society will be held on March 12, at 17.15 – 20.00, in Tieteiden talo, room 404 (Kirkkokatu 6, Helsinki).
In the beginning, professor Niko Besnier (University of Amsterdam/ Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies) will give a lecture titled: The Sport Industries in the Neoliberal Age and the Reconfiguration of the Future in the Global South.
The award for the Anthropological Act of the year 2019 will also be given during the meeting.
