Friday 16.12. 4-6 pm
Tieteidentalo/ House of Sciences, Helsinki + on zoom
As 2022 draws close to an end, this panel brings us together to take stock of a year of multiple crises and increased uncertainty. Speaking from different areas of scholarly and practitioner expertise, the panel asks participants to reflect on what vulnerability means in their work; where, if anywhere, they identify hope; and on whether and how living through crisis times reshapes the distinctions between our work and private lives.
The evening will continue with the Finnish Anthropological Society’s ‘pikkujoulu’ party at Kolmas Linja 28, (ground floor).
