This year’s first Suomen antropologi: The Journal of the Finnish Anthropological Society issue has been released!
This Winter Issue, Vol 49 (1) contains three research articles, four lectio præcursoria and three book reviews.
Articles:
- Susanne Kuehling (University of Regina) considers how anthropological discussions on kula exchange have neglected the crucial role of women
- Kalev Aasmäe (University of Tallinn) delves into a single life history to study the lived experiences and survival strategies of squatters in Southeast London
- Mari Keski-Korsu (Aalto University) incorporates artistic research with the concept of transcorporeality, referring to the notion that bodies exist in relation to the world around them and are in a constant state of becoming with it
